EVENTS101 consists of two days of outstanding education and networking for event planners of all types.

Day 1 is a comprehensive look at producing events in our Web 2.0 World, where web-based systems, grass roots marketing and social media come together. With a focus on the use of online platforms, conference participants will obtain a strong understanding of how to move their events forward to new levels!

Day 2 consists of more than 25 concurrent workshops and round table topics, concentrating on all aspects of event production. Fundraising, public relations, operational planning, volunteer management, cash handling, booking entertainment, and many more event planning subjects will be available to participants.

Jointly produced by the nonprofit Celebrate Fairfax, Inc., and the Virginia Recreation and Park Society’s Northern Service Area Board, EVENTS101 brings the quality of a national convention at local prices. Single day registration cost is $69 for Friday and $49 for Saturday, with a $99 fee if attending both days. Register early and receive a $10 discount for EACH day that you attend.
